BeNeLux Maps undervalued?

The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxemburg are not frontrunners of the EU for nothing. The creation of the EU was formed after the Benelux was formed for one. There is a lot of cooperation between these 3 countries on many different levels. Benelux maps are almost nowhere available.

Two terms that we come into contact with as makers of maps. It is not unusual if these two terms sound at all strange to you. It's not, and we'll clarify through this blogpost. So, where to start? What is the difference between these two, and what does it mean?

Vector Map Styles

Vector maps that we deliver to our countries may differ from our 'standard maps' by a number of things:

- Image of desired area
- Format as desired
- Use of the chosen map style

Decorative city maps

For one of our customers, we have created a series of city maps from Dutch- and foreign cities. The streets are displayed as black lines, all other information such as parks, waterways and buildings have been excluded from the map.
